A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault at Portobello Promendade, Edinburgh, which took place on Friday, March 17.
In May, officers released a CCTV image of a man they thought may have information in connection with the assault at the Edinburgh beach. Police have now thanked members of the public for their help in arresting the man. He is expected to appear at court at a later date. Constable Erin Millar said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries, following our earlier appeal.”
