Edinburgh crime: Police release CCTV images of man they wish to speak to about Princes Street robbery

Police Scotland have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Edinburgh city centre earlier this year.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 14 at around 5pm on Princes Street, Edinburgh.

Officers believe the man in the images could assist them in their ongoing enquiries and are appealing for the man himself or anyone who may recognise him, or has information about this incident, to get in touch.

The man is described as a white male, aged between 30-40 years old, slim build, brown facial hair and spoke with a Glasgow accent.

He was wearing a white hooded top, black trousers and a black beanie hat.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has any information, is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2725 of May 14. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.
