An 18-year-old has been arrested after a police chase in Midlothian on Thursday afternoon, March 9. Police deployed specialist resources, including the police helicopter, after two quad bikes were spotted on the A68 that were believed to be stolen.
The drivers failed to stop for the police, leading to the pursuit, which was brought to a safe conclusion in the Dalkeith area. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing at this time and there is no risk to the wider public. The male will be held in police custody to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.”
