Midlothian Police appeal after two dozen ‘high value’ sheep stolen

Police in Midlothian have asked the public for their help after a number of “high value” sheep were stolen from a field on Old Pentland Road, close to the Edinburgh Bypass.

Thieves are thought to have stolen 27 Cheviot and Swale ewes at some point between Sunday, November 15, and Sunday, November 22.

Old Pentland Road where the sheep were kept, is close to the A702 Biggar Road, and also visible from the City Bypass.

Police have asked anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the surrounding area, or anyone who has information regarding the crime, to contact them immediately on 101 - quoting incident number, 2149, 30/11/2020.
