On Saturday night, Livingston Road Police officers stopped the individual while they were driving a Volkswagen in Polbeth, West Lothian.
The driver then tested positive for cannabis and cocaine on a Drugwipe – a quick roadside drugs test.
They were arrested and the vehicle was seized by police.
A blood specimen was also obtained from the driver, which will be tested for drugs.
