West Lothian crime: Man, 33, arrested after assault and theft in Livingston and robbery in Broxburn

Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man in connection with a series of incidents in West Lothian.

Officers were called to Carmondean Centre Road in Livingston, after receiving a report of an assault and a theft, at around 11.50am on Sunday, August 7.

Soon after, at around 12.35pm, they were alerted to a robbery on Hillview Avenue, Broxburn.

The vehicle used in these incidents had been reported stolen at an earlier time.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with these offences. He is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on 9 August, 2022.
