Police reportedly stopped by a white car

Drivers faced delays near Edinburgh Airport as police responded to an incident on Glasgow Road on Thursday morning.

A police car was reportedly blocking the busy route before the turn off to Scotland’s busiest airport at around 9.30am.

A witness, who was catching a flight this morning, said there was “really bad traffic” in the area. He added: “There’s something happening on the airport road. Really bad traffic and the police are not letting people go beyond the turn off before the airport.”
