Edinburgh crime: Police release CCTV images of man who may be able to help enquiries into Stockbridge robbery
At around 9pm on Friday, October 11, a 92-year man was subjected to a ‘very distressing experience’ at his home on Saxe Coburg Street when an intruder threatened him before stealing a quantity of cash.
It is understood the intruder then left the scene and the elderly victim was not injured during the ordeal.

The man is described as white, with a heavy build and was clean shaven. He is thought to be around 35 to 40 years old.
At the time of the incident he was seen wearing denim jeans, a dark baseball cap with writing on it and a black hooded top with ‘Hard Rock Café’ written on the front with further writing on the back.
Anyone who recognises the man him or has information about the incident is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3729 October 11. The man pictured is also to contact the police.
