The final push for votes in the 2024 general election saw party leaders criss-crossing the country in the last week of the campaign.
With the polls showing the Tories heading for big losses, the party started to warn of the supposed dangers of a large Labour majority in the Commons. Meanwhile, Labour - fearing people might be tempted to stay at home, thinking the election result a foregone conclusion - emphasised change would not happen unless people voted for it. The SNP claimed it was clear Labour would win decisively without the need for Scottish MPs and urged voters to back them instead.
