Scottish rugby legends Greig Laidlaw and Johnnie Beattie to share stories at exclusive Edinburgh event
Edinburgh event will give rugby fans the chance to hear Scottish legends stories on the international stage.
Two Scottish rugby legends are set to share stories from their international careers at an exclusive evening in Edinburgh next month.
Former Scotland captain and British and Irish Lion Greig Laidlaw will be joined by former Scotland international Johnnie Beattie for a special event at Duddingston Golf Club on Thursday, November 26.
The evening, which coincides with the Autumn Internationals, will give rugby fans the chance to hear first-hand accounts of life representing Scotland on the international stage.
The pair will take part in a relaxed question-and-answer session, sharing behind-the-scenes stories, memorable moments from their careers and experiences of playing at the highest level of the sport.
Guests will also have the opportunity to put their own questions directly to the two former internationals.
Alongside the rugby discussion, attendees will be able to enjoy food provided by the club’s catering partners, Greens Catering, as well as drinks and the opportunity to socialise with fellow rugby supporters and guests.
Niall Watson, general manager of Duddingston Golf Club, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome two true icons of Scottish rugby to Duddingston Golf Club.
“Greig and Johnnie have given fans so many incredible memories over the years, and hearing their behind-the-scenes stories during the Autumn Internationals will be a real treat.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity for our community and local rugby fans to come together for an unforgettable evening of top-tier entertainment and hospitality."
The event will run from 6pm until 10.30pm, with tickets priced at £40 per person.
Duddingston Golf Club, located around 10 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, said places will be limited and is encouraging those interested in attending to book early.
