Opening date confirmed for new JD Gyms branch in Edinburgh
New JD Gyms facility to open in Chesser following strong membership demand
A fitness chain has confirmed the opening date for its newest branch in Edinburgh following strong demand from the local community.

JD Gyms will officially open its doors at the Edinburgh West Retail Park in Chesser on Tuesday October 6.
The company said thousands of people had already registered their interest in joining, with strong sales reported during an initial membership release last month.
The new facility will feature a large strength area equipped with Hammer Strength plate-loaded machines, free weights, and specialist lifting platforms with adjustable racks.
Cardio workouts will be catered for with premium Matrix equipment, including treadmills, cross-trainers and climbmills.
Members will also have access to a functional training zone equipped with a sled track, ski ergs and assault bikes, alongside a dedicated glutes and abs area.
Luxury changing rooms complete with separate male and female saunas have also been built to aid post-workout recovery and relaxation.
Lee Matthews, chief operating officer at JD Gyms, said: “We are proud to bring another award-winning JD Gyms to Chesser this October.
“The response from the local community has already been fantastic, with high numbers already registering their interest and securing memberships ahead of the launch.
"This level of demand reflects the appetite for a high-quality, affordable fitness offering in the area.”
