Lifestyle editor Gary Flockhart chose this Abbeyhill Indian & Nepalese restaurant and takeaway as his favourite in Edinburgh. He said: "Gautam’s is my go-to place for an Indian meal - so much so, I even order takeaway from them on Christmas Day. They do the best garlic nan bread in town, and my favourite main course is the tandoori chicken tikka, which is always well-spiced and succulent. The tandoori king prawns are to die for too, and, truth told, I’ve never had a bad meal from this place, whether sitting in at their newly-refurbished restaurant or getting a home delivery."
