Edinburgh weather: A group of local kids build a spectacular igloo in Portobello
and live on Freeview channel 276
After reading popular book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown, a group of creative children in Edinburgh decided to build their own igloo.
The icy structure is complete with three windows and an archway door, and the intrepid builders used recycling boxes to help mould the bricks.

Hide AdIt took Iain Huffer, Max MacPherson, Harry and Evie Vernon-Coyle four days to complete the igloo which can be found on the 8th fairway of Portobello Golf Course to be enjoyed by all.
Edinburgh was hit by Storm Darcy which saw heavy snow fall throughout the week, with temperatures dropping lower than it has in decades.
The Met Office has continued its yellow weather warning through out the weekend but will end on Monday when highs of almost 10C will see off the last of the ice and snow.
