Over the years, we have seen many famous faces publicly declare their love of the Ibrox club – here are some of the best known ones.

6. Sir Sean Connery
The late Sean Connery was once a Celtic fan but is said to have switched allegiances. According to former Scotsman journalist and ex-Labour media advisor Simon Pia, the former James Bond changed sides because he once phoned Celtic asking for free tickets to an Old Firm derby and was told no by Fergus McCann, Celtic's managing director. David Murray, the then Gers chairman, immediately sent out a pair of complimentary tickets and invited Connery as a guest of Ibrox club. Photo: Photo: Getty Images
