Ivana Scott: Community of missing teenager organise search party

The community of Cockenzie and Port Seton have organised a morning search party to help find missing 13-year-old Ivana Scott.

Ivana was last seen around midnight on Monday, October 12 at her home address in Port Seton.

She is described as white Scottish, 5 foot 5, slim build with brown hair usually worn in a ponytail.

It is thought she may be wearing navy blue jogging bottoms and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

The Cockenzie and Port Seton Community Council have organised a search party to start at 8am on Wednesday morning to help try and find the teenager.

A post on their Facebook page, posted on Tuesday evening, said: “There is a missing child in Port Seton.

"There's a search being organised for 8am tomorrow morning.

"We are looking for volunteers who are available to help can we please meet outside Port Seton Centre at 8am.

"Masks and all social distancing regulations must be adhered but we want to help find this girl as soon as possible. Thanks.”

Anyone with information about Ivana should contact 101 quoting incident number 0467 of October 13.
