Mysterious 'missing' Stockbridge toilet roll note exchange escalates as hilarious ransom is delivered

The original pair of posters, which were attached to the railings close to the bridge on Saunders Street, were spotted by a resident of the area during their daily exercise.
The first, which was for a “missing” toilet roll last seen on Hamilton Place that answers to the name of "Andrex", was quickly followed by a ransom note - created in classic film style with cut out magazine letters - detailing what will happen to "Andrex" if 50 gallons of hand sanitiser were not left under Dean Bridge by 10pm on Friday night.

Describing the signs as "a much-needed bit of fun" in these trying times, the resident who shared the photographs said that they spotted the ransom this morning during a trip to the pharmacists, they added that they intrigued to see whether “Andrex” will finally be returned.
