Road users urged to avoid the area following crash near Pathhead
A major Midlothian road has been closed this morning due to a crash.
The A68 is closed north of Pathhead between the junction with the A6106 and the junction with the A6093 in Midlothian following a road traffic accident that happened around 8.15am on Saturday, November 7.

Police Scotland has advised road users to avoid the area, while Traffic Scotland reported the incident at 8.27am.
AA Traffic News posted online at 8.49am: “Road closed and traffic heavier than normal due to accident on A68 Both ways from A6106 (Fordel Mains Junction) to the A6093.”
The live AA Traffic map shows the closure is already leading to a build-up of traffic on surrounding roads, including the A6093, and the A6106 heading to nearby Dalkeith.
