Traffic Scotland warned of delays on the Edinburgh Bypass after emergency services closed a lane.

Delays on the Edinburgh Bypass as police close lane near Straiton

A police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Wednesday, 28 April, police came across a vehicle that had broken down in the live lane of the A720 between Straiton and Lothianburn.”

The vehicle was safely removed with police assistance and the lane reopened at around 9am.
