Five-day forecast for Edinburgh next week

Sunshine and warmer temperatures are expected to return to Edinburgh next week, according to the latest BBC Weather forecast.

With temperatures dropping to highs of the mid-teens along with chillier nights and early mornings this week, and wind and rain hitting the capital in recent days, you’d be forgiven for thinking our long hot and sunny summer is over.

However, the latest BBC Weather forecast paints a more optimistic picture for next week, with temperatures hitting 20C early next week, and sunshine returning later in the week.
