Woman killed in three-vehicle crash in Livingston which leaves four others in hospital

A woman has died following a three-vehicle crash in Livingston this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the collision in Cousland Road at about 3:20pm.

A police spokesman said: "Police are currently in attendance following a serious road crash between three vehicles on Cousland Road in Livingston.

"A woman has been pronounced dead at the scene. Four people have been taken to hospital."

An air ambulance in nearby Howden Park.

There are no further details on injuries at this time.

The road is closed and diversions are in place.

One driver in the area said an air ambulance landed in nearby Howden Park to take casualties to hospital, while others were taken by road ambulance.
