Capital kids invited to enjoy free snooker at roadshow
Locarno Snooker Club will host the roadshow on Saturday between 3pm to 5pm as part of five events across Scotland this weekend, with other venues being Cumbernauld (Friday), Dundee (Saturday) and Irvine and Dumfries on Sunday.
Hunter was a former world No.4 who died from cancer shortly before his 28th birthday. The aim of the foundation is to give disadvantaged, able-bodied and disabled youngsters an opportunity to play free snooker.

Hide AdPaul Marinello, chairman of Scottish Snooker, said “This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to come along and try out snooker – even if they have never played before. The roadshows offers kids a great opportunity to come along and see what snooker is all about in a fun environment.”
Anyone under the age of 16 is invited to attend for free and should just turn up on the day.
