Bonnyrigg seek heroes of 1978 for Junior Cup celebration
Bonnyrigg Rose are hosting an event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the club's last Scottish Junior Cup triumph.
In 1978, Rose defeated Stonehouse Violet 1-0 at Hampden Park to win the competition, 12 years on from winning it for the first time in a replay against Whitburn.
The East Super League champions – who will now play in the East of Scotland League – are keen to contact anyone involved with the club during the 1977-78 season ahead of the celebration at Bonnyrigg Masonic Club on Saturday, September 8.
