Hearts ace tracked by Celtic and Premier League duo - reports

Aaron Hickey is likely to be in demand this summer

Hearts starlet Aaron Hickey is being tracked by Celtic, plus two Premier League sides.

The 17-year-old is no stranger to speculation since breaking through as a 16-year-old at the end of the 2018/19 season.

In the 2019 Scottish Cup final he put in a starring display in only his second ever first-team start.

His performances have alerted the attention of clubs across the UK and abroad with Hearts having held discussions with Manchester City regarding the player.

Hickey has also seen himself linked with Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Celtic.

The Daily Mail report Neil Lennon is keen on the defender who was once on the books of the Scottish champions.

Yet they could face competition from Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

Hickey is one of Hearts’ most sellable assets but only has 12 months to run on his contract with uncertainty surrounding the Tynecastle club as to which division they will be playing in next season.

The 17-year-old has played the fourth most minutes for the club this campaign, doing so at left-back, right-back, centre-back and wing-back.
