Dunfermline Athletic’s trip to face Greenock Morton on Saturday in the second round has been postponed after Cappielow failed a pitch inspection.

It means Tuesday’s Championship clash at Tynecastle with Stevie Crawford’s men will have to be rearranged.

Hearts were due to welcome the Pars to Gorgie on Tuesday, January 12, however that is when Dunfermline and Morton will attempt to play their Scottish Cup tie.

In addition, Camelon’s match with Brora Rangers has also been postponed.

Hearts were due to play the winners of the first round tie on Saturday, but the continued postponements meant they were due to face each other at Dunipace.

However, it once again won’t go ahead and the teams will try once more on Monday.

It will mean Hearts’ next game is a week tomorrow against Alloa Athletic at the Indodrill before the team are due to face Raith Rovers in a Championship double header.
