Hearts have re-signed Craig Gordon on a two-year contract, after the stopper rejected a new deal with SPL champions Celtic.

Gordon began his career with Hearts, making 100 appearances for the club before signing for Sunderland for a whopping £9 million in 2017, a record-breaking fee for a British goalkeeper at the time.

The Scotland international joined Celtic in 2014, but made just six appearances for Celtic last term, with Fraser Forster being Neil Lennon's preferred goalkeeper.

Having returned to Tynecastle, Hearts fans were understandably delighted having secured a top-level goalkeeper for no fee.
