Made himself big to stop Stephen Kelly’s header shortly after a rare fumble. Fine penalty save with his feet and stopped Fitzwater’s header too.

Pretty good in possession, pretty solid in defence. Steady performance overall from the experienced Irishman.

It was always going to be a tough afternoon up against man mountain Joel Nouble and so it proved. The Englishman stood up to it reasonably well.

CD – KYE ROWLES 6

Flicked a header off of the bar before being turned inside out by Nouble in the box and giving away a penalty for a shirt tug. Played well up to then.

LD – ALEX COCHRANE 6

Uncharacteristically outmuscled from a log ball for the Livi goal. Didn’t quite hit the heights of recent weeks after an exhausting schedule.

CDM – ORESTIS KIOMOUTZOGLOU 5

Made a good start, a raking cross-field pass catching the eye, but faded quickly and replaced by Connor Smith as Hearts chased the game.

CM – CAMMY DEVLIN 6

Starting because Halliday picked up an injury in the warm-up, the Australian did enough for pass marks before getting a well-earned rest.

CM – ROBERT SNODGRASS 5

Loose in possession a few times, neat at other times. Lots of set-piece delivery opportunities but nothing came from any of them.

RF – JOSH GINNELLY 7

Posed a threat. Made crucial goal-line clearance and fluffed chance to equalise from Forrest cross before rifling in a superb late equaliser.

ST – LAWRENCE SHANKLAND 7

So many chances chances he could have had a hat-trick. Blasted one over, scuffed another and Livi keeper thwarted him with incredible saves.

LF – BARRIE MCKAY 7

Not quite there yet, but much more like his old self after being dropped at Ibrox. Bright, positive, dangerous and creating chances.

SUB – ALAN FORREST 6

For Devlin 63mins. Brought on when Hearts were chasing the game and put in a couple of decent crosses, contributing to the equaliser.

SUB – CONNOR SMITH 6

For Kio 67mins. Unfortunate to only last 10 minutes. Withdrawn when Rowles saw red.

SUB – CRAIG HALKETT 7

For Connor Smith 77mins. Won all his aerial duels with real aggression. Very welcome return
