Hearts v Hibs semi-final ticket prices and date set along with Rangers v Aberdeen in Premier Sports Cup

SPFL have announced the kick-off times for the ties at Hampden Park

Hearts will face Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday, 1 November, at 3pm. The Scottish Professional Football League confirmed today that the all-Edinburgh semi-final will go ahead a day later than the meeting between Rangers and Aberdeen. That tie will kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday, 31 October, and both will be screened live by the tournament-sponsoring broadcaster.

Tickets for both semi-finals are priced at £32 to £39 for adults, with concessions costing between £17 and £21. This will be the first ever meeting between Hearts and Hibs in the last four of the League Cup. They have met four times at Hampden in the Scottish Cup - in 2006, 2012, 2020 and 2022. The Tynecastle side won all four of those ties, so Hibs will be eager to exact some revenge this time round if possible.

In a statement confirming the arrangements, the SPFL said: “The SPFL has today confirmed the match arrangements and ticket information for the 2026/27 Premier Sports Cup semi-finals on the weekend of October 31/November 1. Both ties will be played at Barclays Hampden and will be shown exclusively live on Premier Sports, as the semi-finalists compete for a place in the final on Sunday December 13.

“Rangers will face Aberdeen in the first semi-final on Saturday October 31, kick-off 5.30pm. The second semi-final sees Heart of Midlothian take on Hibernian on Sunday November 1, kick-off 3.00pm to round off a showpiece weekend of football. The meeting of the Edinburgh rivals will be the first ever between the pair at this stage of the competition.

“Ticket allocations and prices for both matches have also been announced following discussions with the competing clubs and relevant authorities. The majority of adult tickets will be available at £32, with adult tickets in the North and South Stands priced at £39. Concessionary ticket prices will again be available across the whole stadium and will be priced at £17 and £21.

“Rangers supporters will be allocated tickets across the North, South and West Stands for the 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday October 31, while Aberdeen fans will be accommodated in the South and East Stands. Heart of Midlothian supporters will be split across the North, South and West Stands for the 3.00pm kick-off on Sunday November 1, while Hibernian fans will be housed in the North, South and East Stands. Tickets will be issued in digital format through the Barclays Hampden app. The competing clubs will announce ticket sale information via their own channels in due course.”

SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: “Everyone at the SPFL is hugely looking forward to what promises to be an exciting weekend of football at Barclays Hampden later this year. We’re pleased to confirm the details for both Premier Sports Cup semi-finals and wish all four clubs the best of luck as they look to book their place in the final on Sunday, December 13.”
