How to watch Celtic vs Hearts: TV channel, live stream, referee and VAR ahead of emotional Parkhead rematch

Here’s all the information you need ahead of Hearts’ tussle with Celtic this weekend.

Hearts return to Parkhead this weekend as they face Celtic in their latest Premiership match.

The Jambos drew 1-1 midweek with Nordsjaelland in the Conference League and now head into a battle charged with emotion. Their last visit to Glasgow’s east-end was on the final day of last season where a 3-1 defeat brutally brought an end to their title hopes with minutes to spare, finishing second, as chaos ensued post-match with a home fans pitch invasion.

Victory here perhaps wouldn’t fully heal the scars of that day in May but it’d go a long way to possibly going one step further this season. It’s set for broadcast on TV and here’s all you need to know ahead of Celtic vs Hearts.

What have Celtic and Hearts said ahead of next match?

Vrancken said after the draw with Nordsjaelland: "I am convinced that the players will be focused on the game on Sunday and not in the past, you can't live in the past. You have to move forward and look forward, and you have to take on the next one. I am convinced and confident that it will be like that from the players.

"I hope the fire is there every game we play, and not only because something happened in the past, you also don't look in the past too much because it is negative energy, and we need positive energy. This fire has to burn when you play every game, especially the top games, when you can make a result. We have to take all the positives from the Nordsjaelland draw into what is coming.”

Celtic boss Martin O’Neill said after his side’s 4-1 Europa League loss to Benfica: “We created about five great chances in the game. We hit the woodwork I think three times. There's always the possibility of Benfica on the break scoring against us as they did. I get great encouragement for this and even though we've lost the two games and we're down to six matches, I genuinely believe that we can make it.”
