Dundee were dispatched 2-1, with goals from Andy Halliday and Armand Gnanduillet, to end a three-game winless run and increase the lead at the top of the Championship to 15 points.

@HeartsRant: “We didn’t half make that difficult after going two up. Nervy towards the end. Job done.”

@lewismckenzie_: “Neilson made a good point midweek that this would be more of a ‘Premiership’ style match. We look so much more comfortable against a team who don’t camp in their own half. Nervy ending but much better on the ball. This is why next season SHOULD be different.”

@grantjambomarsh: “Not yet ready to jump up and down still struggled to manage the game towards the end!”

@GaryMclauchlin: “Peter Haring appears and we win, coincidence, I think not."

@TS_Nicoll: “Three points - that's all that matters right now. Could've been much more comfortable but getting the win after consecutive draws was the important thing. We all know what positions need to be strengthened and today didn't change anything…”

@bw17_: “Better today, looked more like a team, just don’t see the need to make those subs and invite teams on to us and hold out, we were much better team up till then, some good performances and 2 very good goals, stuff to build on”

@adamtkendo: “Jekyll and Hyde in my eyes but three points is three points!”

@FredSked: “Job done. Strikers scoring, 15 clear, 8 to play; nice.”

@SWhyte1874: “Big win. Pretty entertaining game but made it difficult for ourselves when we didn't need to.”

@barrett_steve: “That was much more nervy than it should have been. From looking like a team well ahead to one hanging on with a keeper to be thankful to. As for Peter Haring? What a stupid thing to do; fully merited red card in my opinion.”

@donmcgrats: “So glad that's over. Cruising at 2-0 for all of 5 minutes then rash defending struck again. At 2-1 we were clinging on and yet again have Craig Gordon to thank for getting us over the line. Phew!”

@grandpa_flump: “Much better shape today but not taking our chances and still hanging on at the end, relying on Gordon to keep us ahead. Good signs though.”
