Monday was a huge day in Scottish football. The SPFL finally concluded the 2019/2020 Scottish Premiership season, crowning Celtic champions and relegating Hearts. The Tynecastle club labelled it and “unjust outcome” and that the league body had expelled the club from the top flight.
It is likely not the end of it with league reconstruction back on the table. Failing that, Hearts are expected to challenge the decision legally as they face a second season in the Championship since 2014. For other clubs it is a time to move on and prepare for next season.
