. Little fans favourite
"It was also the week of my sons third birthday so I asked if I could get a photo of Glen with Marius. We turned up expecting a photo. Zal took us on the pitch for an hour, did many photos and they did the Moonwalk together" said Hearts fan Linda Lee Thompson. Zali kept in touch with the family, with Linda adding "We have so many special memories. Loads of photos, videos, signed frames boots, signed photos and the signed 5-1 shirt.". What a terrific man. . The terrace hero
"Initially he was pretty much the poster boy of the type of substandard player Vladimir brought in. But as time went on he grew and grew as did the fans' love for him. To go from that to a terrace hero shows just how much dedication and staying power he had and how much his love for the club flourished over time and with it the fans love for him." said Alex Munro. "Seen him in garage few weeks after the final and said 'well done captain, Gorgie rules' and he did the 5-1 with his fingers" recalls David Blyth. Marius, like many of us, never did forget that day. Photo: Contributed

Louise Heathcote remembers " I bumped in to him in Gorgie the morning after the cup final, he had obviously been our partying all night, when I asked him he had enjoyed the match, his answer was f**k aye!" Zal was not a man to hold back his true thoughts. Photo: Contributed
