Former Hibs midfielder and son of cup-winning coach joins Portsmouth Academy staff
Former Hibs, Motherwell and Livingston midfielder Greg Miller has made a move to England’s skybet League One.
Miller, a former coach at Easter Road, has joined Portsmouth as the club’s new Academy manager.
After playing at Hibs 15 times, as well as spells at Livingston, Motherwell, Arbroath and Brechin City, Miller has spent time coaching at Rangers, Stirling Albion as well as the Hibbees. He also coached in Japan at JEF United and with the Scotland under-17s who he helped qualify for the European Championships in 2015.
Miller holds a UEFA Pro licence and has most recently been involved at skybet Championship promotion hopefuls Barnsley.
As well as his own links to Easter Road in both playing and coaching capacities, his father Alex is best known for his 10-year spell in charge of the club when he won the 1991 League Cup and also led Hibs to the final two years later, losing to Rangers.
