Hibs are close to signing the Inverness Caledonian Thistle winger Daniel Mackay after agreeing terms with the Highland club.

Easter Road officials are set to beat a number of Premiership sides to the highly-rated 20-year-old and hope to complete the deal in the next 48 hours.

Mackay is a graduate of the Inverness youth academy and has a year remaining on his contract, but Hibs have reached a verbal agreement to lure him to Edinburgh.
