Winners will be first to own club’s fastest selling kit

Hibs fans are being given the chance to be the first to own the club’s new NHS strip in an official club raffle.

The unique designs, which feature a ‘Thank You NHS’ tribute on the front of both home and away jerseys, are the fastest selling in the club’s history, attracting thousands of pre-orders before they become available in early July.

The kit was launched to widespread acclaim in April as Hibs became the first club in the UK to show their backing to the NHS and key workers battling on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Easter Road side plan to make a six-figure donation to the NHS charity, Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation, through fundraising as well as offering free tickets to NHS and key workers for home matches in the forthcoming season.

As part of the fundraising initiative, the club is giving two lucky fans the chance to get their hands on the very first shirts to be produced by kit manufacturer Macron before they land in the club store in July.

One home strip, in traditional green and white colours, and one away strip, featuring a stylish new charcoal and purple design, are up for grabs, with raffle tickets available through the club’s eTicketing site, priced at £5 for one entry, £10 for three chances to win or £15 for six entries.

A statement on the Hibs website read: “All monies raised from the sale of raffle tickets will support the NHS & key worker ticket initiative, thanking and rewarding front line workers with the opportunity to attend Hibernian home matches at Easter Road during next season.”

You can purchase raffle tickets here, with entries closing at 12pm on Friday 12th June.
