Hibs fans offered chance to watch Malisheva clash at Easter Road as Conference League screening details emerge
Supporters are able to watch the action unfold closer to home
Hibs have announced that the first leg of their UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round clash away to KF Malisheva will be available for supporters to watch at Easter Road.
Manager David Gray is ready to navigate the heat and altitude in Kosovo’s capital city of Pristina as his side prepare for another European tour. The Hibees have been allocated 700 seats inside the Fadil Vokrri Stadium on Thursday afternoon, however for those not making the trip, a different opportunity has arisen.
Supporters of all ages will now be able to catch the game inside Easter Road’s Famous Five Stand, where the Behind The Goals Suite will have plenty of large-size screens projecting the action from Eastern Europe. Tickets - which are sold on a first come, first serve basis - are now available via the club website. Doors will open at 2:00pm to allow fans to get settled before kick-off at 3:30pm (BST).

Hibs open Easter Road doors to fans for European clash
A club statement read: “We are excited to announce the details of our European Live Screening, which will see the first leg of our UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round battle with KF Malisheva screened live at Easter Road!
“As David Gray’s charges embark on another exciting continental adventure, Hibees unable to make the trip to Kosovo will have the opportunity to show their support with the benefit of home comforts. The match will be beamed back live from Pristina to our Behind The Goals Suite situated in the Famous Five Stand, which features multiple large-size screens around the venue to ensure not a moment of European action is missed!
“In the build-up to kick-off, supporters can enjoy a varied street food offering as well as access to our paid bars throughout the evening. The event is open to supporters of all ages, as we are now in a position to allow Under 18s to attend the event. Please note that Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.”

What has David Gray said ahead of the Malisheva clash?
Those who are making the trip to Kosovo in the coming days are to brace themselves for temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees. The city is also around 2,200 feet above sea level, adding altitude issues into the equation for the players. Despite this, manager Gray is excited for another European adventure and won’t be making any excuses regarding the conditions.
He said: “I think at the moment it's about 30 degrees, and we’re looking at an afternoon kick-off now. Obviously if it was at night it would be a wee bit cooler, so we're just having to make sure the players are aware of that. There's a wee bit of altitude probably as well with where it is, but as I say, that's not an excuse, the players will be ready for that. I'm looking forward to it, that's the most important thing.”
