Hibs hammer Aberdeen in closed doors friendly


A strong Hibs side proved too strong for Aberdeen as they romped to a 6-1 win in a reserve friendly played at the Edinburgh club's East Mains training centre.
The match had been to be played at Tranent Juniors' Foresters Park but was switched and played as a closed doors game.

Hide AdThe Easter Road outfit fielded a strong side including club captain David Gray, McNulty, who is currently serving a two match suspension, James, Melker Hallberg, Vykintas Slivka, Raser Murray and Daryl Horgan.
Murray opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a shot from distance before McNulty added a second six minutes later, knocking home the rebound after Dons goalkeeper Sam Jackson had saved his initial effort.
Gray made it three just after the half-hour mark and James added a fourth minutes from half-time. Hibs grabbed two more goals as McNulty and James scored in quick succession before Dean Campbell thundered in a consolation for the Dons in the last minute, his 30-yard shot crashing in off the underside of the bar, reported Aberdeen's official website.
