Hibs told summer signing is 'exemplary' star as English club agree exit deal over former Hibee
Some of the headlines with Hibs flavouring to have emerged after transfer deadline day.
Hibs are done with the summer transfer market as they begin for the first half of the season in its entirety.
The Hibees are licking their wounds after defeat against Hearts and up next is St Johnstone in the Premiership. They also have a Premier Sports Cup quarter-final tie against Ross County ahead, having got to the Conference League play-off against Gent last month, sitting on six points domestically.
Several signings were made and ex players have also been on the move. From one new signing being backed for success and West Ham United sending one former player back to Scotland, here are some of the headlines to come out of the aftermath of Hibs’ transfer window.
Marko Ivezic - what will he bring to Hibs?
Defender Marko Ivezic has been backed to take his high standards with him to Hibs. The Serbian centre-back has been brought in from German side Holstein Kiel to help cover the loss of Warren O’Hora who’s moved to Leicester City in England. Kiel sporting director Olaf Rebbe said: “Marko Ivezic has significantly shaped KSV’s path in recent years with his exemplary commitment and calm demeanour. We were unable to offer him the playing time and prospects he envisions. Therefore, we respect his wish to take on a new challenge and wish him every success and all the best.”
Ivezic said: “The past three years in Kiel mean a great deal to me. I am incredibly grateful for all the shared experiences with the team, the club, and the people here in Kiel. It has been an incredibly formative and wonderful time, during which I was able to experience many great moments and gain valuable experience. Therefore, saying goodbye is very difficult for me, and I will always remain connected to Holstein Kiel.”
West Ham United player on Ayr chance
Josh Landers is keen to take his chance at Ayr United after joining the Honest Men on a season-long loan. He joined West Ham United in a six-figure deal from Hibs but will now taste senior football in the Scottish Championship. The striker told the Ayrshire Post: "I've spoken to the gaffer and Graeme (Mathie) a few times and it's stood out how keen they were to bring me here. It's a chance to come home to a good club with aspirations. As a striker all I want to do is score goals and hopefully I'll be able to add something here. I've started the season well and got a few in pre-season, so I feel I'm coming to Ayr in good shape."

Dylan Levitt on joining Motherwell
Midfielder Dylan Levitt feels he’s in the perfect place to thrive after returning to Scotland at Motherwell. Levitt left Hibs in January for Leyton Orient but has now moved to Alfred Johansson’s ball-orientated team on a permanent basis. He said after scoring in debut during victory against Dundee United: "I'm delighted, I couldn't have asked for a better debut. When they went down to ten men, you're just hoping you get on the pitch as soon as possible and help the team. And when I did go on, I really enjoyed it.
"I loved the way we played and moved the ball. To top it off with a goal was perfect. The way the gaffer wants to play suits me and the team. We've got really good players who, as you saw against United, can score wonderful goals in key moments. As I went on to the pitch, everyone was showing for the ball and everyone wanted to pass you the ball. Everyone was on the same wavelength and that really suited me, especially as it was my first game. Having only trained once the day before, it helped that everyone just wanted to get on the ball and make things happen. And when you've got willing runners, it is always good for a midfielder as well."
