Hibs have unveiled their new away top for the 2020-2021 campaign.

Described as a “stylish charcoal and purple offering”, it, like the new home shirt, has a tribute to the NHS on the front.

Last month the club released the design of the home kit which has gone on to become the fastest selling in the club’s history and earned praise and recognition in Scotland, across the UK and even in the United States.

Supporters will be able to add the ‘Thank You NHS’ to their top for £5 with all profits going to Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation who work with NHS Lothian to support ‘longer lives, better lived’.

The club said: “It follows hot on the heels of last month’s reveal of the home kit that our players will wear with pride next term – which quickly became the fastest-selling strip in the history of Hibernian FC and was hailed by Scotland’s Minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing, Joe FitzPatrick.

“Both shirts convey our thanks to the frontline heroes of the NHS, who are going above and beyond on a daily basis to nurse the nation through an unprecedented period.

“Designed in consultation with NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government – while aimed at appreciating the efforts of the health service throughout the UK – we’ll be working in partnership with NHS Lothian and the Hibernian Community Foundation to deliver a layer of meaningful communications, engagement and community service.”

The first home league game of the season will see Hibs host a ‘Thank You NHS Day’, while 100 free tickets will be made available to NHS and other key workers throughout the season for every home fixture.

The club aim to raise a six-figure sum for Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation through fundraising.

The away strip is available to pre-order now from the club.
