Hibs are through to the Viaplay Cup semi-final and will take on Aberdeen in nine days time. Nick Montgomery's side beat St Mirren 4-2 to reach the final four and will now hope to replicate and hopefully further their 2021 success of reaching the final.

Speaking after his side's win in the quarter-finals, Montgomery said: "“I told them to stay calm, keep playing and don’t get sucked into thinking we need to change the game plan,” he said. “We have the belief now.“It doesn’t matter who we play, it’s a semi-final. It’s a knockout and now we are one game away from a final."

Hibs last featured in a final in the 2021/22 season but subsequently lost 2-1 to Celtic. Their most recent win in the tournament came in 2006/07 where they beat Kilmarnock 5-1. This year they will face either Rangers or Edinburgh rivals Hearts if they are successful against the Dons next weekend. With just over a week to go, tickets are still available to purchase but are selling fast. Here is all the latest information on how to buy last minute tickets for the game.
