Hibs youngster Ethan Laidlaw joins Liverpool for trial
Hibs youngster Ethan Laidlaw has joined Liverpool on trial this week, the club has confirmed.

The 16-year-old striker is highly rated at Easter Road after signing his first professional contract earlier this year. Laidlaw is a former Hibs ballboy who has been with the club since he was ten.
Having previously spent a week with Leeds United, he’s now earned himself a training stint with Liverpool’s development team after Hibs granted permission.

He was included in the matchday squad with a place among the substitutes bench for the April 11 clash with Rangers at Ibrox.
Sporting director Graeme Mathie said in February: “We were able to show Ethan a clear pathway of how we might be able to move between our Under-18s to our first team – likely involving our strategic partnership with Stenhousemuir.”
