Kevin Nisbet: I have proved I can score goals - Hibs can help make it with Scotland

The Hibs striker netted another special goal on Saturday to complete his side’s comeback against Cove Rangers and there is a growing clamour to have him promoted into the Scotland set-up.
But if his ongoing improvement has surprised anyone else, it has not shocked the 23-year-old.

The one of Saturday was a satisfying effort and completed the turnaround in fortunes.
“Yeah, it was a great finish. It is one of those ones where the weight was already on the ball and I just needed to guide it into the top corner and thankfully it went.”
And he believes he is worthy of his place in Scotland boss Steve Clarke’s thoughts, having signed for Hibs in the hope of proving that.

“That was definitely one of the reasons for coming here but my feet are still firmly on the ground and I am just focused on Hibs right now and playing week in, week out and scoring goals and helping the team.”
