'The most beautiful kit I've ever laid eyes on' - Hibs fans react to new 2021/22 kit
Hibs have launched their new home kit for the 2021/22 campaign and fans are loving the bespoke design.
The shirt maintains the club's traditional green body and white sleeves, with both bottle green and emerald green being used. A map of Edinburgh is sublimated in the material while the shirt features a thistle emblem on the reverse.
Stephen Sibbald wrote: “Really like it, good start from Joma.”
Tracey Smith added: “Hibs and Joma have smashed it well and truly out the park with this kit. Absolutely love it.”
Hibs fan Hope admitted: “I think I might be a wee bit in love.”
Dean Clements couldn’t resist a wee dig: “Things you love to see! Hearts release their Sunday league “Inter Milan” style £5 Umbro sale strip. Then Hibs absolutely smash it out the park with a custom-made number, with new kit provider and sponsor.”
Claire Lawrie tweeted: “I like this.. I like this a lot.”
Jack Gillies was impressed: “That is a beauty – love the map of Edinburgh, great touch.”
Hollie Liddell said: “This is unreal!”
Stevie Carnie added: “One of the better Hibs strips recently! Would’ve preferred a white collar but overall, thumbs up.”
Stephen Watson was chuffed: “Big fan of this, colour is great, like the map idea and the sleeves are great. Well played.”
Charlie Banks was smitten: “That is the most beautiful kit I've ever laid my eyes on.”
Even Hearts fans were impressed, with @ViewfromGorgie writing on Twitter: “All joking aside about the new Hibs top... it's actually nice to see clubs doing something a bit different. I'm totally on board with the map of the city.”
