Where Hibs and Hearts sit in attendance table compared to Celtic, Rangers and Scottish Premiership rivals

Hibs and Hearts have welcomed nearly full-houses each matchday in 2023/24 season

It was a heated weekend in the Scottish Premiership with Hibs and Hearts playing Rangers and Celtic respectively. Unfortunately neither Edinburgh team came away with the three points and instead were left with many more questions than answers following their performances.

Hibs were left to rue after their 4-0 thumping against Rangers while Celtic triumphed 4-1 at Tynecastle. Next week, we will see the four sides swap opponents with the Leith-side welcoming the Hoops as Hearts travel to Ibrox and both Steven Naismith and Nick Montgomery will be hopeful of finding a solution to the weekend’s chaos.

They were two of the few fixtures able to take place this weekend due to Storm Babet but the results will not have helped their standings in the league with Hibs now down to ninth with just two wins from their first nine fixtures. The squads, however, do sit much higher up compared to their domestic rivals in this season’s average attendance tables. According to FootballWP, here is where Hibs and Hearts sit in the average attendances for the 2023/24 season.
