Points left on the park as Edinburgh City left to rue wastefulness in final third
Edinburgh City boss Michael McIndoe admitted his frustration after the Citizens were forced to settle for a point on the road at Forfar.
The hosts grabbed the lead at Station Park in the seventh minute when Aaron Arnott headed home, but Lennon Walker restored parity just after the half-hour mark.

The visitors upped the tempo in the second half but couldn't find a winner despite carving out a number of gilt-edged chances.
City drop to seventh in the League Two standings.
"It's definitely two points dropped," McIndoe said afterwards. "It was total domination second half. I think they had two shots on target the entire game, which is not good enough for us. We gave away a sloppy goal early on against the run of play, which shook the boys a little bit.
"We got the goal back, and started passing the ball and changed tactics. We had six, seven, maybe eight chances to put the game to bed. We've got to be more clinical and a little more patient because there are times when we are snatching at shots. Their keeper also pulled off an absolute worldie, one of the best saves I've seen at this level.
"We are getting better. Forfar will have gone away happy with that draw I believe, we won't. We can't. And that's no disrespect to Forfar. With the style and quality we have we expect to win the football match."
Elsewhere, Spartans were edged out 3-2 by joint-leaders Clyde at New Douglas Park.
Mark Stowe's double for James Craigen's side proved in vain as goals from Scott Williamson, Barry Cuddihy, and Jamie Bradley, secured all three points for the home side.
Meanwhile, Conor Doan's first-half penalty gave Tranent a precious victory over Bonnyrigg Rose at New Dundas Park.
The win keeps the Belters third in the Lowland League East standings, two points off the pace of joint-leaders Brechin City and Linlithgow Rose, who have both played a game more.
Boss Robbie Horn said: "I thought the players were absolutely magnificent. They showed real character and resilience as I thought we were up against it, backs-to-the-wall at times in the second half. It's a massive three points. It's nice to come back to a place where you've been and get a result like that."
