Johnson unhappy with VAR

Lee Johnson has been speaking to the BBC after tonight’s 1-1 draw at Ross County, and he’s not impressed with the VAR decision not to rule out County’s equaliser.

“I thought we were the better side in the first half,” he said. “They felt they had to almost clear it from the midfield because of the wind gusting in their face. Good first goal in terms of our pressure, forced an error. A really good finish.

“I was disappointed. I was disappointed with VAR again. I’m fed up with it because it’s a foul on David Marshall (at the Yan Dhanda goal).

“The wind’s howling in, 35-40 mile an hour wins and there’s two players that absolutely career into him. Again we’ve been let down by VAR, it’s not the first time.”

Why money matters at Livi

David Martindale has been giving BBC Sportsound a fascinating insight into how transfer negotiations unfold at Livingston.

“The recruitment side is difficult. You’ve got to put a lot of time into it – especially the finances. I’ll look at 10 or 15 players and we’ll lost out on five or six of them because we can’t compete with other teams financially.

“Most conversations start off by saying it’s not about money. By the end of day two [of negotiations], it’s always about money.”

The window closes in a few minutes. Motherwell are late movers

Dundee United have compleed a loan deal for 19-year-old centre-back Loick Ayina.

The window is now closed!
