Capital diver Grace Reid is 'very happy' with the way she competed with Tom Daley during the World Series in 2018 after they earned a fourth medal from four events for Great Britain.

The circuit came to an end in Kazan, Russia at the weekend and Reid and Daley kept their composure to seal silver in the 3m mixed synchro event.

It was a fourth successive silver medal in that event on the World Series, the previous three rounds having been in Beijing in China, Fuji in Japan and last week in Montreal in Canada.

The four events were also sandwiched by the Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast last month where former Edinburgh Diving Club athlete Reid, 21, earned gold in the women’s 1m event.

Reid now trains with Daley, 23, in London, and she said: “We are very happy to collect another silver to add to the collection, this World Series has been a great experience for me.

“To get medals in all four events is something I will look back on in the future with great pride. It has been a busy schedule, but it is great to be competing regularly at this level and going up against the best.”

In Russia, the pair finished on 317.70 points, behind Canada’s Jennifer Abel and Francois Imbeau-Dulac (324.96) and ahead of Germany’s Tina Punzel and Lou Massenberg (306.00).
