Tennis: Baltacha in easy win

British women’s No. 1 Elena Baltacha eased into the second round of the Texas Tennis Open in Dallas with a straight-sets victory over the Czech Republic’s Barbara Zahlavova Stycova.

Baltacha, who at 61 is ranked ten places above her opponent, won 6-2, 6-1 in a match that lasted an hour and 20 minutes.
