Search is on for Scotland’s top heating installers, plumbers and apprentices
The search is on for Scotland’s best heating installers, plumbers, HVAC professionals and apprentices, with entries now open for the Heating Installer Awards and The Plumber Awards 2027.
Both awards are free to enter, with tradespeople across Scotland encouraged to put themselves forward before entries close on 22 December 2026.
Now in its 12th year, the Heating Installer Awards recognises outstanding heating professionals across the UK, with regional winners progressing towards the national title of Heating Installer of the Year. The awards also include HVAC Installer of the Year, recognising professionals delivering heating, cooling, ventilation and air quality projects.
The Plumber Awards, now in its second year, celebrates outstanding plumbers from across the UK, while a joint Apprentice of the Year category recognises the next generation entering the plumbing and heating industry.
Earlier this year, Sean Hogan of Aventus Eco Ltd in Coatbridge was crowned Scotland’s best heating installer after impressing the judges with his entry, before celebrating his achievement alongside leading installers from across the UK at InstallerSHOW in Birmingham.
Laura Mashiter, founder of the Heating Installer Awards and The Plumber Awards, said: "Every year we discover incredible talent in every corner of the UK, and Scotland is no exception. We know there are outstanding heating installers, HVAC professionals, plumbers and apprentices working across Scotland who are delivering exceptional work for their customers every day.
"The awards are an opportunity to recognise those individuals, celebrate their achievements and showcase the professionalism, technical expertise and dedication that exists throughout the industry. We'd encourage anyone who is proud of their work to put themselves forward."
Previous winners and finalists have benefited from increased local recognition, strengthened professional reputations, new industry relationships and wider exposure through the awards.
Entries are free and close on 22 December 2026.
