Hide AdThis comes as Uber Eats makes it easier for restaurants to sign up to the platform by waiving the activation fee for all new restaurants and convenience stores.
Toussaint Wattinne, General Manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “Edinburgh has a fantastic restaurant scene, and it’s brilliant that Uber Eats can connect customers to these amazing restaurants. Not only is there plenty of isolation food inspiration, but through ordering, you can help support local businesses when they need it most.”
Residents can easily order their meal via the Uber Eats app to arrive directly and safely to their door, whilst helping support their local community through this period.
