We reported on October 1 that a man wasarrested and charged following a Midlothian housebreaking. On September 23, officers attended a report of a housebreaking in the Dalkeith area. Following enquiries and a review of CCTV footage, officers were able to positively identify a suspect. Later that same day, a warrant was granted for the suspect’s address. Officers from Response and CID attended the property and gained entry. Evidence recovered during the search helped officers trace and recover stolen items from a local pawnbroker.
